Job Description



Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making collection calls daily and collecting payments for unpaid vehicles and associated charges.
  • Monitor closely and maintain assigned group of customers by making follow up on overdue/delinquent accounts which includes gathering of required documentation/backups, processing customer account adjustments for write offs, debit and credit memos.
  • Must communicate & follow up effectively and timely with Management and Sales dept regarding customer accounts that have issues.
  • Investigate historic data and take actions (putting customer on hold /barred, if required) to encourage timely payment. Update collection notes and status of customers’ accounts accurately and timely in Auction Management System
  • Process customer payments daily which includes Direct Debit (DEFT) after sale or weekly.
  • Partake in completing Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting to management and Head Office.
  • Other administrative and accounting related duties as required.

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education. Accounting knowledge is an asset
  • Has at least 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable collections in a fast -phase office environment.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must possess an excellent customer service skills and customer focus
  • Must be a team player and proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills and must possess good critical thinking skills
